Studies on the Formation of Copper Complexes of Sulfonamides

Abstract
|
|
|
There are many reports on the complexes of drugs. On this reports, the author studied on the formation of copper complexes of sulfonamides. This work were observed the molar ratio, the precipitation condition and the color of sulfonamides- Cu complexes.
From the results of this experiment.
1) The colors of the complexes were light green or light blue.
2) Precipitation condition was pH 7-9.
3) The molar rations of sulfonamides and copper were 2 : 1 when utilizing solvent extraction method.
